A little about us...

Set up in 2009, White & MacLean Publishing focuses on using network technology and collaborative working practices in a new approach to the publishing and marketing of books and documents

Traditional publishers have shackled themselves to a liberal-economics business model that encourages vertical integration and the pursuit of the economies of scale. The result is that they have become bound to a decision-making process in which opinions of editors are considered significantly less important than those of the marketing team and the accountants that dominate the management structure.

White & MacLean Publishing is based on the idea that this model is no longer appropriate for the modern networked world and we use a collaborative network of independent professionals who cooperate on publications on a project-by-project basis.

Each year we aim to publish between four and six works, either as hard-copy books or as electronic documents and eBooks.
